First aid: online theory, hands-on practice
Online first aid courses cover the theory and make a strong annual refresher. Workplace first aid certificates also need a face-to-face practical assessment. In-person First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses are coming soon across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Questions
Are the courses accredited?
Yes. Each course lists the bodies that approve it, such as CPD, IIRSM, IOSH, Gatehouse Awards or the Institute of Hospitality. Approvals vary by course, so check the course details.
How does the free trial work?
Courses marked Free trial let you start the course without paying, so you can see the format first. Buy the course to complete it and receive your certificate.
When do I get my certificate?
As soon as you pass the course questions. You can download it straight away for your records.
Is an online first aid course enough for my workplace?
Online courses cover first aid theory and work well as refreshers. A workplace first aid certificate also needs a practical assessment in person. Ask us about combining the two.
Can I buy courses for my staff?
Yes. Open a business account to buy in bulk and track progress, or send us a group enquiry for a quote.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you bought a course in error and have not logged in or started it. Unused logins are refunded in full. Once you have started a course it cannot be refunded. Read the full policy.
